Step Four: The Public Launch
The Mayor and other relevant local people were invited to say words of support at the public launch of the EDAP project, at St. John’s Church in Bridgetown, in September 2008. The celebratory event included a short improvised piece of theatre acted with the storyline built with the audience. The Theme School Reunion 2030 featured 4 old school acquaintances looking back on their lives since school, which people found fun and thought provoking. The evening closed with time for people to add their visions of the future to the Transition Timeline, which was held and very productive.
